Studio Auttam is the creative studio of Isha Patel, a self-taught Indian artist known for her emotionally driven, material-led artworks.
Blending contemporary art with a strong design sensibility, Isha works with industrial scrap, rusted metal, and reclaimed materials to create sculptural installations, collectible objects, and conceptual pieces that explore themes of value, decay, and quiet resilience.
Rooted in slowness, intuition, and care, the studio transforms overlooked and discarded matter into meaningful forms. Each work emerges from a process of deep observation and instinctive making,blurring the line between what is broken and what holds beauty.
Named in honor of Isha’s grandmother, “Auttam” reflects a personal legacy of strength, reflection, and emotional depth. The word itself means “the best,” “supreme” or “excellent” simply and beautifully aligning with the studio’s values.
