Blue Borrowed Broken
Silent Wing
Size: 48″ × 36″
Materials:Automobile scrap, rusted metal, found objects
Silent Wing is inspired by the blue macaw, a symbol of beauty, voice, and freedom. Now endangered, its silence echoes everything in nature we admire but fail to protect. Created from discarded scrap, the piece reflects that contrast; vibrant color and graceful form shaped from rusted, forgotten materials. It asks what remains when something meant to fly, sing, or live… goes still.
